Health security planning has to start from what is actually being funded, by whom, and where the gaps sit. That picture did not exist in one place.
We led a comprehensive investment mapping exercise across Ethiopia’s pandemic preparedness and response financing. It identified investment flows, financing gaps, priority areas, and opportunities to align resources better across stakeholders.
The mapping informed development of the National Action Plan for Health Security.
