Pulses and oilseeds are among Ethiopia’s most significant export value chains, and among the most sensitive to the investment climate around them.
We ran a national investment climate survey across the value chain, defining the priority areas for agricultural investment and testing barriers against standard ease-of-doing-business parameters. The assessment covered regulatory and business-environment constraints at each stage, and closed with policy recommendations to strengthen private investment and sector competitiveness.
