Large manufacturing and industrial sites concentrate thousands of low- and middle-income workers who fall between public provision and private cover. Employer-supported insurance is one way to close that gap, if employers will carry it.
We led the feasibility assessment of employer-supported health insurance models for sexual and reproductive health services at these employment centres. The work examined financing options, employer willingness to participate, operational feasibility, and the policy implications of taking such a model to scale.
